Miscellaneous
Something I have not often seen that may or not be of use to you is the idea of breaking up an interesting real project into instructional videos. It could use a combination of technologies (maybe not too many at first) but, presented as if it were done on a commercial basis. I have been trying to learn programming and short examples are nice but I would love to know how it is really done with the “big boys.”
Thanks for work you have given so far!
David
One other idea is to analyze and give examples of different writing styles. I know you have some blogging videos that I have not seen but comparing (and contrasting) different writing styles may be uninteresting to some however, there may be others that would be interested. Straight grammar would interest (help) me.
Thanks again,
David
Can you make tutorials on how to use JSON?
Sure you can expect to see that very soon
Hi,
We own multiple websites and we are interested in presenting an offer to purchase newthinktank.com.
We contacted you a awhile ago about this matter.
Are you the owner? If not, could you forward this letter to the owner of the site?
We hope we will hear back from you!.
Please send answer to: poria@keebali.com

I’m not interested in selling my website
Hi there. Ive got a noob question, sorry.
Do we HAVE to purchase a URL in order to implement the things you have taught us about building a word press website?
Is there no way to do these things using a free blog? e.g using the word press plugins? I can see that there is no option to use plugins on wordpress.com unless, i presume, you purchase a domain name and hosting.
I know that its cheap to do all this. But i am probably in that 1% of people who cant even afford to kick things off the way you’ve shown us.
One more question if i may.
Ive only just begun to go through your tutorials. And they are the best ive seen so far online either paid for , or free. So well done with that 🙂 .
I have a plan to start a website or blog that deals with playing Online Casino games straight from my site from the browser ,no install. (which is not created yet). The casino that i have an account with also has text links for advertisers to use on their sites which opens a Slot game in a browser. I dont know enough yet. But it seems like the link is a type command. I havent got to the tutorial on divs yet. But instead of people having to click the text link to open the new browser and play the game, is it possible to link an image to the text link in order to do the same thing? IF you are willing i can post the code for the link here or where ever it suits you if you would like to see first hand what it looks like and perhaps what i need to do in order to achieve the same result by clicking the image instead of the text link.
Thanks for your time and effort!!
You are now my authority site for website tutorials.
🙂
Thank you very much 🙂 You can always develop websites on your own computer for free, but if you want a reliable site for others to use you’ll have to get a domain and hosting plan.
As per your other question it is easy to make clickable images. Check out my HTML Video Tutorial and CSS Video Tutorial. They are structured to teach you everything you need to make websites. I hope they help
Opps i missed a word out where it says:
” But it seems like the link is a type command. I havent got to the tutorial on divs yet.”
I meant to say “But it seems like the link is a Div Type command….”
Hi Derek
I love your video tutorials! They are comprehensive, easy to understand and spot on.
I’ve been going through the Java tutorials and they helped me a lot revising my Java and learning new stuff..
I wonder if you could do video tutorials teaching deeply UNIX commands and bash scripting. And also if you could make a deep SQL and database development and design course. It would be great to have those as videos.
Thanks
Ammar
Hi Ammar,
Thank you for the nice compliments 🙂 I’m glad the Java tutorials have helped. I have a bunch of SQL tutorials on my site and youTube. They are inside of my PHP and Java tutorials. Is there something else specifically that you think i should cover SQL wise?
I’ll add Bash scripting to my list of topics. I’ll see what I can do that would be interesting. Thank you for the requests and I’m always looking for ways to improve.
Thanks
Derek
Hi Derek,
Thank you very much for the wonderful tutorials. Can you please give tutorial on Spring and Hibernate too ? These are quite demanding technologies in market from long time and I would like you to teach these in your way if possible.
Thank you once again for so far tutorials. They are really helpful. Just curious, is it your voice in all videos ? 🙂
You’re very welcome 🙂 I’ll cover Java enterprise in detail after I finish Android.
