Pizza Thin Crust Recipe (10 year’s in the making)
Here is my Pizza Thin Crust Recipe. I have been working on perfecting my dough recipe for pizza for about 10 years.
This is technically a margherita pizza recipe. All that means is that it is a traditional Italian pizza, which uses simple ingredients.
I also provide a bunch of pizza recipe sauces below.
This is a great thin crust pizza recipe, but it also would make a great thick crust also.
Here is the Pizza Thin Crust Recipe
I’ve been working towards the greatest pizza recipe for over 10 years. Here it is.
- Preheat oven to 550 degree’s
- Get a pizza stone
- Get a bread machine, or mix by hand?
- 1 3/4 cups of luke warm water
- 3 cups of King Arthur Unbleached, All Purpose Flour
- 1 cup of Soft As Silk Cake Flour
- 1 Tbs Natural Sugar
- 2 Tbs Dry Milk
- 2 tsp Active Dry Yeast, mix it in the warm water
- Let rise for 5 hours or more.
- Makes 2 pizza’s
Topping’s for pizza (Examples Below)
- 3/4 cup Buffalo Mozzarella
- Whatever else you like
Marinara sauce
- Add 1 to 2 Tbs Garlic to 1/8 cup of olive oil
- When the garlic begins to brown add 1 can of diced tomatoes in a pan (No Salt Added)
- Add two Tbs of Basil Pesto or Fresh Basil
- Mash the mixture with a potato masher
- Fry until your happy (8 to 10 minutes)
Bake the 2 pizza’s for 12 minute’s at 550 degree’s.
As soon as the pizza leave’s the oven coat the crust with melted butter, mixed with garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil.

Here are some wild Pizza Sauces and n0ne traditional toppings.
Four Cheese Thin Crust Recipe
- Traditional Tomato Sauce Above
- 1 Tb Smoked Gouda
- 1/2 Cup Buffalo Mozzarella
- 1/4 Cup Romano Cheese
- 1/4 Cup Fontina Cheese
- 2 Tbs Fresh Basil after it’s removed from oven
Mushroom Pepperoni & Sausage Thin Crust Recipe
- Traditional Tomato Sauce Above
- 1 Cup Buffalo Mozzarella
- 1/2 lb Mild Italian Sausage (Cooked & Drained)
- 1/3 Cup Sliced Mushrooms
- 15 Slices of Pepperoni
Hawaiian Thin Crust Recipe
- Traditional Tomato Sauce Above
- 1 Cup Buffalo Mozzarella
- 3 Thin Slices of Canadian Bacon
- 12 Chunks of Pineapple
BLT Thin Crust Recipe
- 1 Cup Buffalo Mozzarella
- 1/4 Cup Crumbled Bacon (Cooked & Drained)
- 1 Sliced Roma Tomato (1/8 in Thick)
- 2 Tbs Mayonnaise (Mix with Lettuce in a Bowl)
- 1 1/2 Cups Romaine Lettuce (Add after Removed from Oven)
BBQ Chicken Thin Crust Recipe
- 1/4 Cup Your Favorite BBQ Sauce (Spicy Sweet is Best)
- 1 Tb Smoked Gouda
- 1 Cup Buffalo Mozzarella
- 1/8 Cup Red Onion (Chopped)
- 1 Tb Fresh Cilantro (Chopped & Added After it’s Removed from Oven)
Gino’s Knock Off Deep Dish Pizza
Gino’s Pizza in Chicago is known to make the best deep dish pizzas. Here is a knock off recipe for it.
- Preheat oven to 400 degree’s
- Get a pizza stone
- Get a bread machine, or mix by hand?
- 4 cups unbleached bread flour
- 2/3 cup cornmeal
- 2 Tbs sugar
- 2 tsps salt
- 2 1/2 tsps instant yeast
- 5 Tbs corn oil
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- Let rise for 4 hours or more
- Makes 2 pizza’s
- Oil 2 10 inch pan’s
- Roll out dough with a rolling pin and place snuggly in pan and up the side’s
- Back the crusts for 3 to 4 minute’s before adding the toppings (Prick dough to avoid bubbles)
- Cook for 45 minute’s at 400 degrees
Basic Topping’s – 1 1/4 cup mozzarella & 1/4 cup parmesan cheese covered with marinara sauce above
Italian Sausage – 2/3 lb of Italian sausage removed from casing on top of the sauce
