In today’s video I’m going to show you how to make Cream of Mushroom Soup and Hashbrown Casserole. As I make these dishes I’ll also note how many calories can be found in the ingredients.

As I showed you in a previous video The 200 Calorie Submarine, it is possible to eat delicious low calorie dishes that are HUGE! You just have to change the way you think about food.

Cream of Mushroom Soup

  • Blend 1 lb of Mushrooms, 2 TBs of Onion & 1 TBs of Lemon Juice (100 Calories)
  • Whisk 3 TBs of Butter & 3 TBs of Flour in a pan on hi (416 Calories)
  • Add the Veggies to the pan
  • Add 2 cups of Cream (828 Calories)
  • Add 1 cup of Regular Milk (160 Calories)
  • Add Pepper to taste
  • Cook on hi for 12 minutes while whisking

Total Calories: 1,504

Total Fat: 98.4 Grams

Hashbrown Casserole

  • Melt 2 1/2 Cups of Velveeta in a bowl (1600 Calories)
  • Add 2 Cups of the soup to the bowl (501 Calories)
  • Add 30 oz of Hashbrowns (610 Calories)
  • Add 1/2 Cup of Butter (408 Calories)
  • Add 16 oz of Sour Cream (1,380 Calories)
  • Add 1/2 Cup of Onions (2 Calories)
  • Stir it all up and bake for 45 Minutes at 350 Degrees

Total Calories: 4,501

Total Fat: 365.4 Grams
