This has been a common request week and the most popular request I get is How Do I Get Twitter Followers.
While I don’t consider myself an expert, I did put on about 10,000 followers in 2 months. Because you asked for it, I’ll show you exactly what FREE sites I used to get Twitter followers.

To get followers just use Tweepi like I demonstrate in the video. If you follow a ton of people that are both online, or active twitter users and they have a high follower rating they will follow you back. It is the easiest way to quickly add thousands of followers
I’m a little confused I always thought twitter was a way to get traffic to my site. What I really want is clicks. Just following people with huge amount of followers will that do that? Or am I missing something? Sorry if this is a noobie question.
Yes you can use Twitter to drive traffic to your site, but you need a ton of followers. I’ve only seen major increases from accounts that have 50,000 followers or more. If you are able to create a twitter account that gets loyal followers of course you don’t need that many followers. I however don’t believe that is possible today.

Top 20 viral videos
Top 20 tweets
Top 20 pictures
After doing this for 2 years it received 963 followers. That is staggering to me! I’ve created other twitter accounts that post the best of pop culture, just pictures, just news, etc. and have received similar results. That is why I think the above technique is the easiest way to generate followers.

Ok one more question, teacher. Should I abandon my site twitter account? Start a new one to do this? Use the current one I have up. I would like to someway boost the site account, but its about cooking not marketing.
If your site is about cooking, I’d focus on your current Twitter account. Post pictures in instagram, pinterest and facebook. See if you can fit the recipe in a tweet, or at least an ingredients list. People love to look at pictures of food. Feel free to reply with a link to your site and your twitter id here

Tweepi.com provides the best tool for finding followers. Do the following to find the best:
1. Go to tweepi.com and login with your twitter account
2. Click on Follow Tweeps – User’s Followers in the top bar
3. Type in somebody with a ton of followers like TwiterHero
4. You may have to skip the next page?
5. Click on columns and select: Followers, Friends, Last Tweet, #RTs and Follow Ratio
6. Click the Load Stats button
7. Click the Follow Ratio column and Sort Ascending
8. Now follow anybody with:
a. At least 250 followers
b. More friends than followers
c. A Tweet in the last hour or less
d. Over 25 #RTs
These people will almost definitely refollow you immediately

I’m glad it worked for you. It is pretty easy after you get in a rhythm
And to other people, try to promote new followers a lot even they don’t mention or promote you yet. They will aggressively RETWEET and you will eventually get new followers without even follow them first. After one night, I get about 30 new followers by just randomly promote about 10 last followers in my list.
