Is there any quest worth more than the quest that leads you to a delicious healthy sandwich?
How delicious? How about a meat loaf hoagie? How healthy? How about a sandwich that clocks in at just 300 calories, with 1 gram of fat, 23 grams of protein and only 8 grams of sugar!
On top of all that it is extremely cheap! The sandwich is mainly texturized vegetable protein and it costs only $2 for 10 oz. You know you want it! The recipe follows the video.

Recipe for my Delicious Healthy Sandwich
Add the following to a bowl and mix. Then let rest for 10 to 15 minutes
Now mix in the following ingredients and stir until completely mixed
Put the above in a 375 degree oven for 45 minutes. I used a 9 by 5 pan, but you could also refrigerate the above mix for 3 hours and then cook as meat balls.
The sandwich tastes best with either salsa, or tomato sauce. Here is my simple tomato sauce recipe.
1. Cook 2 cans of low sodium diced tomatoes until the liquid is almost gone ( 4 min. on High)
2. Add 1 8 oz. can of tomato sauce to thicken the sauce
3. Add 1/8 to 1/4 Cup of Pesto to taste
Then you can put it on any hoagie bun you’d like. I get a 130 calorie hoagie and take out the insides to lower the calorie count. If you cook the hoagie roll the right way, you’ll be able to do this and not miss the insides at all.
I hope you enjoy this sandwich as much as I have. I ate 2 today 🙂
Going to try this out soon. Looks delicious in the video.
I absolutely love these on sandwich rolls. I just ate them this past week 🙂
