In this tutorial I decided to make an Android Beat Box App. It could also be converted into a voice note app, or anything else that would benefit from being able to record and later play back sounds.
I’ll specifically cover how to use the Android SoundRecorder, Player, take another look at using list, teach more about logic and incremental programming. All of the blocks used can be found below after the video. The answer for the Reset Button homework is also down there.

Great videos and information. Enjoying it very much. Is there an easy way to get the screens and blocks for publishing in a word/pdf document in a clear and understandable way?
Thank you 🙂 How would you want me to set them up? I basically have them here as 1000 pixel wide PNG files.
Just wondering if there is a way to email the sound once it’s recorded? How can we do that?
Thanks
I’m not sure what you mean by email the sound?
I don’t sure why the Beatbox App doesn’t run in my phone (i have a Bq Mobile)? The problem is when i press the record button, the app is interrupted and stop. Do you know why could be happens?
Thanks a lot!
It is hard to say. Did you copy my blocks exactly?
