In this part of my App Inventor tutorial, I will provide an App Inventor TinyWebDB Example. This one should be fun. We’ll be making a chat application that I call IncognitoEx. It will allow you to chat with anyone who also has the app. Here is the APK if you want to try it out.
It allows you to send and receive messages. You can find the messages here You can even make your own TinyWebDB web service by following the directions here Creating a Custom TinyWebDB Service. All of the blocks can be found after the video below.

have 1 question i build 2nd chat application & finaly when 1 installed it i got error message. i check blocks 100 times there is no warning or caution.
this is the error code what mention in phone-
“bad arguments to select list item” – “the operation select list item cannot accept the arguments: (user:test01)*empty-string*” pleae help me

Sorry, but I’m confused by the error. I ran my app and it worked. Did you make your own TinyWebDB service?
no i didn’t used. i only used common TinyWebDB. my first chat app running very well anyway i’ll find out what happend & still doing some modification it’s pleasure for mr.. 🙂 & thak you million for every thing i love your voice it’s no boring like to hear in more tutorial..

i already made the application file (.apk) and installed both in my android and friend. when i run the app, why i can not see my friend message on my app, also my friend doesn’t see the message from me? could you answer it for me? thx.
