Tips to Get More Twitter Followers

1. If you want more followers you must follow everyone that follows you

2. Use a site like Friend or Follow to unfollow those that don’t follow you. Give them at least a day to respond

3. Put a Twitter button on your website / blog. You can get one here Tweet Button

4. Find out what your most popular tweets were at FavStar and reTweet them up to 3 times per day. Do this between Noon and 5 PM

5. Thank people for reTweets by promoting them in your tweets. Use their Twitter userid with the @

6. Leave room in your tweets for the letters RT and your Twitter id. I need 17 spaces RT @NewThinkTank

7. Get the shortest Twitter id possible 🙂

8. ReTweet the most popular reTweets on Twitter. You can find them here TweetMeMe

9. Tweet between 2 PM and 6 PM

10. Always tweet links!

11. Occasionally put “Please RT” in your Tweets if it especially good. Maybe once a day!

12. Always shorten your links with a tool like bit.ly, goo.gl, etc.

15. If you start receiving SPAM, check out the SPAMMERS follower list. Follow anyone who has a good Followers/Following Ratio

16. Use Twitaholic, to find those with the best Followers/Following Ratio

17. Tweet interesting content as often as possible. News / Quotes / Pictures / Video

18. Make a nice Avatar

19. Give people a reason to follow you in your bio. Tell them how you will promote them!

20. Don’t use an auto responder

21. ReTweet your followers best tweets

22. Reply to everyone publicly instead of through direct messages

23. Post through out the day instead of all at once

  1. The font-family properly is used to specify a family name or generic family or both, and i dont know wht does it mean?       1. of course your css tutorials are great, but i am confused about some issues
        1.in many templates i saw in header z-index:-9999 for logo or something else in header section. why is that ?
        2.good developers provide an extra file with template called _macosx. im not using mac operating system so i have no idea about this and how to make this file.
        3.is there any way to rotate my pragraph text or heading in any angle ?

        1. 1. It’s not a good idea to play with z index very much. Which ever element has the highest z index will float over all of the rest. I’ve seen some browsers go nuts if this is used to often.
          2. _macosx is created when something is compressed on a mac. Don’t worry about it, especially if you don’t have a mac
