I’m on Patreon

PatreonOver the past year I have dedicated myself to dramatically improving the quality of my videos. That lead to my most successful series which was based around teaching whole programming languages in one video tutorial.

After recent changes at YouTube I have decided to try to eliminate all video ads from my videos. You guys told me I should try Patreon and so I have. Here is my Patreon page. Continue reading I’m on Patreon

Perfect Meal 2

Perfect Meal 2I’m still on the search for the perfect meal! I’m calling the perfect meal a meal that contains all the daily required vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats and fiber at the lowest calorie count. Last time I made a Sun Dried Tomato Lentil and Greens Salad, but you guys told me to make a new recipe without sun dried tomatoes, that tasted even better. I’m very happy with my results! This time I made a Lentil, Yam and Collard Green Curry Stew that is amazing. It is extremely filling and just wonderful. The recipe follows the video below. Continue reading Perfect Meal 2

Install XAMPP

Install XAMPPYou guys asked me to create an updated tutorial on how to install XAMPP, so here it is. I wanted to cover everything though, so I show how to install XAMPP. I also cover how to fix all of the common errors. I show how to setup Administrator accounts on Windows 10 and then allow them to run apps, which is normally restricted. Then using phpMyAdmin we create user accounts and a database. To round out the tutorial I then create PHP / MySQL configuration files and PHP scripts that are used to query and update the database.

All of the code used among other things, follows the video below. Continue reading Install XAMPP

Perfect Meal

Search for the Perfect MealThe other day I was talking to someone about what would be the perfect meal based on health. The meal is made up from 5 super foods being Lentils, Portobello Mushrooms, Collard Greens, Almonds, and Sun Dried Tomatoes. I hope you enjoy it. Continue reading Perfect Meal

MongoDB Tutorial 3In this part of my MongoDB tutorial I cover indexing and aggregate. If you missed part 1 or part 2 watch those first.

We’ll examine querying speed differences when indexing is used versus when it isn’t and what data is best to index. Then we explore power querying with aggregate, which allows us to group, sort, perform calculations on, and conditionally manipulate our data and much more. All of the code follows the video below. Chipotle Copycat Recipes

Chipotle Copycat RecipesLast week I ate at Chipotle for the first time, so I decided to make a bunch of Chipotle copycat recipes that taste like the original, but I’m guessing are a lot healthier.

We’ll make Sofritas, Black Beans, Cilantro Lime Rice, Pico De Gallo, No Fat Tortillas and Guacamole. I hope you enjoy these recipes as much as I did. They contain little to no fat, are lower in sodium and extremely cheap. All the recipes can be found below. Continue reading Chipotle Copycat Recipes
