I also go into how you can detect lying through verbal analysis and show you a bunch of tricks you can use to find out the truth secretly.

This time I present Nazi Propaganda Posters. When I first received these I expected them to be very violent, but I found them to be less violent than the first set.

While the American posters called for civilians to do their part and to degrade the enemy the Nazi posters differed greatly. They instead focused on German power and the superiority of the German people.

Propaganda PostersOne of you guys sent me a whole bunch of Propaganda Posters from World War 2. Since I’m not old enough to remember this time I thought they were very interesting.

Yes there are a bunch of Uncle Sam posters along with Rosie the Riveter. Some posters are definitely not politically correct today, but during war times all bets are off.

Either way it’s an interesting look at propaganda posters from U.S. allies during the war.

Gestures and Body LanguageOver a year ago I made a video that made be pretty popular on YouTube called Gestures and Body Language.

I had always been interested in body language so I decided to combine all of the knowledge I could get from the top 20 books, law enforcement manuals and psychology books. I combined everything these experts agreed on into one video and it was a hit.

I kept receiving requests to make a version of it that included pictures / videos and today I provide that video!

Wordpress Problems SolvedEver since I wrote Install WordPress on a Localhost I’ve received a bunch of requests on how to update WordPress on a localhost. It is actually extremely easy.

I think what frustrates people is the fact that WordPress automatic updates don’t work on most development servers? Don’t worry about that. It is actually very easy to update WordPress manually.

Wordpress Related PostsI received many requests recently on how to display related posts on a WordPress site. The code I present in the video below will grab as many related posts as you want and display them in your WordPress post.

The code grabs related posts based off of them being in the same category. It will also work if you have a post in multiple categories.

I could have picked the related posts based off of tags, but I thought categories made more sense.

In this tutorial I’ll show you how to make a WordPress 404 page. It will not only be funny, but also informative.

If you don’t know, a person is sent to a 404 page if they try to go to a URL that doesn’t exist. If you have a 404 page they’ll see something useful instead of an error page.

Css Tricks 404 PageNothings better than an unexpected laugh. The best time for an unexpected laugh is right after a moment of disappointment.

Now I’m not saying a 404 error is known to cause mass depression! When you make a custom 404 page for your site you show your visitors that you care enough to pay attention to the little things.

Wordpress News Theme 8In the previous WordPress News Theme Tutorial, I finished the blog part of my theme. In this part I will finish styling: archive.php, page.php, search.php and single.php.

It sounds like a lot of work, but I’m basically copying and pasting all the code from index.php.

If you make sure your styling is done right during the design phase everything else just falls into place.

Blank USA Map

Blank USA MapPaul wrote in and asked if I could make a Blank USA Map he could use for info graphics.

I redrew both a very detailed and a simple version of a map of the US. One map includes state names while the other doesn’t.

I provide these maps in EPS format. Each state is separated from all of the others. This should make it very easy to turn them into info graphics, or whatever else you’d like.

You can use these maps for free of course.
