You need interfaces and abstract classes because Java doesn’t allow you to inherit from more than one other class. You would use an interface when you want to force the user of the interface to create every method in the interface.
You use an abstract method when you need some flexibility. You’ll learn more in the video below.

The LinkedList class is a collection based on a linked list instead of an array like the ArrayList. They are good when you plan to add and delete items. They aren’t particularly efficient at providing access based off of index searches though.

Java ArrayLists make it easy to keep track of groups of objects. A Java ArrayList differs from a java array in that it automatically resizes itself when you add or remove values.
I’ll go over nearly every Java ArrayList method in the video below. The code follows the video and it is heavily commented to help you learn easily.
Years ago my wife told me we should try a recipe called Fish Pie! I immediately thought this is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard of.
But, I tried it and it was amazingly good! It is also extremely easy to make.
The traditional recipe normally contains numerous types of fish, but I prefer to stick with any meaty white fish. Actually a fish that has a subtle flavor seems to work best.

In this tutorial I do something kind of crazy. I try to teach programming logic by writing code right out of my head. You probably won’t understand everything in this video, but that’s OK.
I continue making a simple game in Java. I specifically make a method that allows my monsters to move on the game board without landing on each other and blocks them from falling off the board.
