Start a Restaurant

Eggplant ParmesanThe thing that baffles me more than anything else, is why restaurant’s give away their recipe’s. What is even stranger, is that other restaurant’s don’t copy them?

Everyday on the Food Network, the best restaurant’s give their recipe’s away. I made custom recipe’s based off of the best of the best. I specifically aimed at creating a menu based off of the must have’s for a successful small restaurant.

If someone just copied these, I can’t imagine that their restaurant wouldn’t be a success. If you have any question’s or comment’s leave them below. Enjoy!

There was a sign that said it was fine to take photo’s so I say use them as you like. You probably are just restricted to not sell the photos? Enjoy either way.

They should make for great backgrounds, flyers, etc.

What are Swaps & Derivatives

Puzzled About DerivativesThere has been a nearly constant conversation on this matter for the past year and a half. Here I’m going to explain derivatives, futures, options in an understandable way.

Derivatives were created to help banks, investors and corporations, to manage risk. Derivatives are:

  • Financial arrangements between two groups
  • Payment’s to one of these parties are made based off of the performance of an agreed upon price move of an item.
  • These items can include: Commodities, Corporate Bonds, Currency, Government Debt, Interest Rates, Mortgages, Stocks, etc.

Theory Negotiation: Bargaining for Advantage

How to Deal with PeopleAnyone that reads my articles realizes I read many books, but today I want to focus on just one because I think it’s one of the best I have ever read. It is called Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion. There are many theories involving how we can best negotiate. In this article and the next I’ll go further into how we make decisions. Now I’ll briefly go through some of the amazing ideas brought up in this book.

How People Make Decisions

Because we live in an extremely complicated environment we use short cuts to make nearly every decision. Our mind flashes back to previous events instantly when a decision is to be made and we act accordingly based off of previous results. If you are able to understand the shortcuts that people use you are able to negotiate to your own advantage.

Like I wrote in previous articles on Indirect Hypnosis, familiarity in the presentation of information speaks more truth, than the facts presented. If you present information using a persons chosen meta-program they will be much more inclined to believe it, because it falls inline with their level of thinking. Here are my articles on Meta-Programs if you are unaware of that term.

Think of it this way. We can easily fall into the habit of going to the same restaurant or store, because it is familiar and you know what you will get there. We develop these habits because our brain likes to have access to shortcut solutions to problems. Hence, you feel hungry so go to McDonald’s. What many people don’t know is that we have numerous habits that we are unaware of. Continue reading Theory Negotiation: Bargaining for Advantage

Javascript Scripting Tutorial Part 3

Javascript Tutorial Regular Expressions, Form Validation and Event Handlers

Today I’m going to continue teaching you everything about Javascript. If you haven’t read my other Javascript tutorials they are available here:

You must read these tutorials before you have any hope of understanding the code that is coming. Like in the last tutorial I will teach you Javascript by walking you through a working script. As the title says above, this tutorial will focus on Regular Expressions, Form Validation and Event Handlers.

Regular Expressions

A Regular Expression is used to describe a series of characters, numbers and symbols. Regular expressions are used to verify that a visitor to your site entered a correct phone number or address. You would use a Regular Expression to state that the phone number:

Indirect Hypnosis : The Introduction to Neurolinguistic Programming

I started this website to answer all questions posed to me. Most times, the questions you ask are great. I’ve answered many of them. I recently received my favorite from Doug Schlesinger. “Teach me how to perform the Jedi Mind Trick.” Well, you might think this is a joke. Obviously I can’t teach a fictional mind trick. I can however teach you all the skills needed to convince people of most anything.

Welcome to the world of Neurolinguistic Programming! NLP is used in nearly every form of professional marketing you consume on a daily basis. It is a branch of psychology, first created, by Richard Bandler and John Grinder. Most of the books and papers they wrote on it are out of print, but your in luck, because I’ve read them all.

NLP techniques are used to figure out how a person’s brain processes information. More specifically how a person:

  • Reasons
  • Gathers Information
  • Decides on Preferences
  • Deals with Stress
  • Emotes
  • Reacts to Situations
  • Makes Decisions
