My question is when I talk with my girlfriend she uses the words uh and umm a lot and she also takes a while to answer the question or she might try to change subject from what I’m asking. Are those signs of lying?
Saying umm and uh is not necessarily a sign of lying. I don’t know how long you have known her. New couples normally don’t open up completely for many months or years, if ever. The more open you are with her, the more comfortable she will be with you if you show you will be honest and understanding.
